Ardens-QMasters are pleased to be able to introduce our Chronic Disease (QOF) Recall System for EMIS Web.
This is a month of birth recall system, designed to recall a patient for multiple conditions at once. This will mean that those patients with more than one condition will only receive one invitation. It will allow practices to streamline its management of chronic diseases and for patients to attend fewer appointments.
It is comprised of a comprehensive suite of searches for call and recall, enabling practices to use their preferred method of invitation:
It also consists of searches to enable condition-specific invitation coding:
Plus an F12 protocol to identify a patient's outstanding annual reviews at the point of contact with the practice:
The searches identify the patients to be called in based on QOF registers and recalls for the following conditions:
- Atrial Fibrillation
- Coronary Heart Disease
- Heart Failure
- Learning Difficulties
- Mental Health
- Peripheral Arterial Disease
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Stroke / TIA
The system also allows for several different optional variations of practice process, including:
- Removing AF patients from recall if preferred
- Considering as reviewed patients with CHD, PAD or hypertension if they have had a BP done
- Ability to override a patient’s month of birth using ‘recall arranged’ if appropriate
There will be written instructions to help you to make the most of the resources and training videos available to support them. Online training sessions will also be available if required.
The Ardens Chronic Disease (QOF) Recall System will available on request from the end of March 2020. If you would like more information or to request that it is deployed to your practice, please contact Sarah Warren (Head of Development) at firstname.lastname@example.org.
