The Ardens Child Immunisaton uptake and call/recall searches have been written to assist practices with understanding their uptake of the various child immunisations and to support in call/recall for these scheduled imms.

Locate the searches in the Population Reporting module > Ardens Searches folder > Ardens Immunisation Searches folder > Ardens Child immunisation uptake and call recall folder.

The Ardens Child immunisation uptake and call recall folder, comprises of 6 sub folders:

1. Primary imms - uptake and invitation

This folder is divided into a further 2 sub folders:

The Call/recall - babies due 8/12/16 weeks imms folder has been designed to help with the recall of children for these primary immunisations:

The first 3 folders, contain searches for each letter due e.g. for First primary imms:

The searches are based on the new codes specifically for the purpose of coding invitations for each type of immunisation e.g. First primary immunisation invitation first letter (second letter, third letter), Second primary immunisation invitation first letter.... etc.

The first letter due search, picks up on patients who are the appropriate age, have not had, declined or contraindicated all of the vaccines and have not had a first letter coded.

The second letter due searches look for patients who have had a first letter but not a second or third etc. Note - the searches do rely on use of the correct codes for recall.

The Denominator folder contains denominator searches and is just the 'backbone' of the recall searches.

The Uptake of primary vaccinations  folder looks at all children who are age 1 and indicated whether they have had / declined some or any of the age-relevant immunisations and should be self-explanatory:

The UPTAKE:Had all..... searches allow you to see the % uptake figures. This will appear in the % column:

2. One Year imms - uptake and invitation

This folder uses the same format as above:

The One year imms Call/recall searches use the code 'Child 12-13 month immunisation 1st letter', 'Child 12-13 month immunisation 2nd letter' etc.

The One year imms uptake searches look at all children aged 2 and whether they have had any / all of their age-relevant imms:

As above, the percentage uptake for each can be seen in the % column:

3. Pre-school boosters - uptake and invitation

This folder uses the same format as above:

The Age >39 mths for pre-school booster invitation searches use the code 'Pre-school booster immunisation 1st letter', 'Pre-school booster immunisation 2nd letter' etc.

The Uptake of Pre-school boosters searches looks at all children aged 4 and whether they are vaccinated:

Again, the percentage uptake will appear in the % column:

4. Teen booster - uptake and invitation

This folder uses the same format as above:

Although many of these are given in school, there has been a request for them to be included here too.

These Age >14 years for teen booster invitations searches use the code 'Teenage Td/IPV teenage booster immunisation first letter', 'Teenage Td/IPV teenage booster immunisation second letter' etc.

The Uptake of Teen Booster searches look at all children aged 15 and whether they are vaccinated:

Again, the percentage uptake is clear in the % column.

5. HPV Uptake searches

This folder includes uptake searches only, as these vaccinations are mainly done in school:

6. CQC Uptake searches

These searches use the CQC child immunisation uptake indicators and provide numbers against them. They differ from the main schedule uptake as they do not include all the immunisations, so we have included them separately.
