Searches are only as good as the coding entered into the patient care record. The second invitation search is reporting on patients that have had the first invitation coded more than a month ago, do not have the “care plan” code that is entered through the Multi-Morbidity initial consultation and still have at least one QOF review outstanding for this QOF year.


It could be that the patient is on more than one QOF register and not all annual review codes for each of their conditions have been entered. 

To check why a patient is included in the 2nd invitation search, access the 3. Denominator Searches folder (within 1.1 Chronic Disease (QOF) Recall Syst folder) and select the 2nd Recall Due (Including Housebound/EoL/Care Home) search. Ensure the search has been run and click on the Check Patient option on the ribbon.



This will show which criteria the patient fulfils and why the patient is in the second invite search.
