Getting Stated with Ardens EMIS for the Practice Management Team
Tuesday 4th February, 10am
This session is tailored for Practice Manager, Assistant Practice Managers, IT Managers, and Senior Practice Team members to introduce the team to the Ardens EMIS resources. It will provide an overview of the Ardens solution, demonstrating its various features to support practices with national contracts, long-term conditions, medicine management, vaccinations and local solutions where needed.

Pharmacists Training
Thursday 6th February, 1pm
This training session is designed for Pharmacists and Pharmacist Technicians who are new to Ardens EMIS. It will include locating and utilising the pharmacist templates, adding patient recalls for ad-hoc blood tests, identifying recalls due, and navigating the Ardens searches to pinpoint potential clinical safety issues. Additionally, the session will cover topics such as prescribing monitoring and managing outstanding contract work, such as Network Contract DES.

Disease Management using Ardens EMIS - Navigating the Latest Asthma Guidance
Tuesday 11th February, 1pm
This session explores how the Ardens EMIS resources can help GP practices effectively managing asthmatic patients while staying up to date with the latest guidance.
NICE, the British Thoracic Society (BTS), and the Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network (SIGN) recently updated this guidance covering diagnosing, monitoring, and managing asthma in adults, young people and children. It aims to improve the accuracy of diagnosis, help people control their asthma, and reduce the risk of asthma attacks. We will demonstrate how to use the Ardens resources to streamline asthma diagnosis and management, improving patient care.

Getting Started with Ardens EMIS for GPs and ANPs
Wednesday 12th February, 1pm
This session is aimed at introducing GPs and ANPs to the Ardens EMIS resources. It will cover the GP Quick Assistant tool designed to save time and optimise workflows, consultation templates, fast track safety netting resources and blood test due analyser alerting staff to any blood tests due for the patient.

Receptionist Training
Tuesday 11th March, 1pm
This session is aimed at introducing the Reception team to the Ardens EMIS resources. It will focus on the reception templates and protocols, including recording messages for abnormal results, managing equipment loans, and documenting items received at the reception, such as payment and urine samples.
