Ardens EMIS Pharmacist Webinar
Thursday 7th July, 1pm - 2:30pm
This is session is aimed at new Pharmacists and Pharmacist Technicians. It will include:
- Locating and using the Ardens Pharmacist Templates, to ensure consistent accurate coding for Structured Medication Reviews and guidance on monitoring high risk drugs.
- Adding patient recalls for ad-hoc blood tests, procedures, investigations, and follow-ups.
- Identifying when a patient is due a recall
- How to locate and run the Ardens Searches to identify outstanding work for Network Contract DES, medication reviews due and potential clinical safety issues.
- Identify the Ardens Clinical Safety alerts and how to action
- General EMIS tips e.g., linking medication to problems.

Using the Ardens Resources to Support National Monthly Claims
Tuesday 12th July 11am - 12pm
This webinar will focus on the available Ardens EMIS resources to support GP practices with national monthly claims, such as CQRS, PPA, Weight Management and more. It will include how to use the Ardens searches to identify potential incorrect coding effecting payment and an overview of the available templates to support practice staff in recording accurate data.

Managing the Flu Season using the Ardens EMIS Resources Webinar

The Ardens Seasonal Immunisation resources offer a solution to manage your seasonal immunisation clinics efficiently and safely. This webinar will include:
- How to use the Ardens flu protocol to record that a vaccine has been given.
- How to add patients to the ‘at-risk’ list who have not already been identified.
- Using the Ardens Flu Search Suite to identify patients to be invited in for the flu vaccine.
- How to monitor which patients have had their flu vaccine, patients still to be done and those that have declined or contraindicated.
- Understanding the data quality searches to check coding for payment.
- How to plan ahead using the flu season ordering searches to determine stock for the upcoming flu season.
