Ardens has created a suite of searches to support practices identify patients who are prescribed a medication/treatment and may need a review as data recorded suggests there may be a safety concern.

To locate the searches, access the Population Reporting module > Ardens Searches > 2.22 Prescribing Alerts searches folder. This folder is then broken down by conditions.

Some folders contain searches and reports identifying patients on a specific medication/treatment, with child searches displaying patients with a potential safety issue that may need reviewing.

Other folders have been updated to our new, more user-friendly format. In these folders, the searches are now hidden within the More Details folder, while the main folder displays only the reports. To view the details of the reports, select View Results from the ribbon.

The naming of updated folders will also identify the action needed, for example, to have a medication stopped, dose increased or reduced.

We are in the process of updating all folders within this suite.
