We have introduced a new search feature that allows GP practices to receive Ardens search update summaries directly in the "Organisational Notepad" section of the EMIS Web homepage. The updates will be displayed every 3-4 weeks, following a scheduled search update. This feature is optional and can be activated through an opt-in option located on the Ardens Portal.
The search update summary is an addition to the more detailed update summaries that continue to be sent via email, especially for significant and important updates. If you do not receive communication for Ardens via email, you can sign up here.
It is important to note when opting in for the search update summary, that any new items will appear at the top of the Organisation Notepad. This means that any notes created inhouse may slightly move down and must be considered if you would like any critical information remained.
Opting-in for Search Update Summaries
To opt-in for the search updates:
- Access the Ardens Portal.
- Locate the 'Opt-in' button for the Organisation Notepad search update summaries.
- Toggle the button to the right to opt-in, the button will turn to blue when active.
Please note - the notifications will only be posted after the scheduled updates and will not occur for Local Contract updates or interim portal requested updates.
Deleting Search Update Summaries
Most practices will have the ability to delete notes posted by Ardens in the Organisation Notepad. In order to delete notes, required individual users must ensure they have the following RBAC code on their EMIS Web profile B0062.
