The Ardens Safeguarding Templates allow the user to record general and risk assessment data and to document concerns about a patient in their care, following the latest NICE guidance.

The available Safeguarding Templates include:

  • Adult Safeguarding
  • Child Safeguarding

The Adult Safeguarding Template facilitates the recording of a general assessment, a review of capacity, the documentation of safeguarding risk factors and concerns, as well as any referrals that are made.

The Child Safeguarding Template gives details on the recognition and management of child maltreatment, allows for the recording of social and risk factors, general information about a child’s health and wellbeing, other agencies involved, and guidance on management and reporting of all concerns.  The template also allows for the adding or removing of child safeguarding / protection codes to the patient record.

Both templates include body maps, as well as pages for Modern Slavery, Human Trafficking and Female Genital Mutilation. Please note - Ardens also has a separate template for FGM if required.
