It is possible, if a little complicated, to extract the details of where a patient had their first COVID vaccination. We have written a report which will extract the information, which then needs to be sorted in excel. The following instructions will talk you through this process step by step.

Note - updated 14/2/21 to make the report 'AccuBook friendly'

1. Run report in EMIS

Run the report called 'Report showing vaccine centre' which is located in Ardens COVID Searches > Ardens COVID Vaccination Searches > 00. Vaccination Status.

Once run, choose 'View results', then 'Export'. Its important to select the following options:

2. Open the CSV file

Once saved, open the saved CSV file in Excel.

Select column L by clicking on the L at the top of the column to highlight the whole column.

Click the Data menu and then click 'Text to columns'

This will automatically put the ODS code into column N.

You can then sort and filter - please see this support article which explains more abut sorting and filtering in Excel.

In order to identify the ODS codes in the list, please use this link which allows you to search for ODS code and identify the organisation to which it refers. - https://odsportal.digital.nhs.uk/Organisation/Search. Please note - if you copy and paste the ODS code from Excel, it has an extra space before the first character. You need to delete this space before searching.
